We have recently completed construction on one of the largest post-tensioned Transfer Plates in the world at the Venetian Macau Resort in association with post-tensioning specialists Freyssinet Hong Kong Ltd. The purpose of the Transfer Plate is to distribute the wall loads of an overlying 37 storey tower on to the underlying supporting columns in the Podium. The monolithic Transfer Plate structure consisting of 13,500m3 of concrete, 2,100 tonnes of reinforcement and 400 tonnes of post tensioned tendons has a plan area of 3700m2 and a depth ranging from 3.5m to 5.5m.
