Macau Museum is one of the most famous and popular tourist points in Macau. The single storey Museum overlies a two storey basement and has an exterior Portuguese style finish. An associated three storey administration office building was constructed on the other side of the hill. The interiors of both buildings were harmoniously decorated with materials of different ages to render a characteristic blend of 18th Century and contemporary architecture and reflect the unique history and cultural background of Macau.
